Lucy’s mom passed away shortly after childbirth due to complications. That’s when Suncoast Humane Society stepped in to take care of Lucy & her siblings when they were only a couple of days old. They bottle fed the pups every couple of hours day & night while caring for them when they were most vulnerable. 🥰❤️🐾

As a volunteer at Suncoast, I witnessed the sleepless nights & constant care this litter of pups received from Adoption Specialists, Marie & Krystal. There were many moments we didn’t think this litter would survive. The odds were stacked against them due to their fragility.

I watched every week as Lucy got stronger & her sweet personality came out. I would help bottle feed her, hold & comfort her when I volunteered. She’s a survivor! It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with her & being able to adopt her was a wonderful gift.💜

Today, June 23rd is Lucy’s 2nd Birthday!!🥳
Lucy loves people, playing with her toys, walks & chasing bunnies. She loves to cuddle & snuggle up at night. She is perfect!💜
