One day in March when I was volunteering as a Kitty Kompanion at the Suncoast Humane Society
I was sitting on a bench watching the cats play and I suddenly felt something land on my shoulder! I turned to look into the eyes of the most adorable tabby kitten! It was love at first sight 💗
This little female kitten had been brought to Suncoast from Puerto Rico by a rescue group. She had limited use of her left front leg - holding it straight in front of her as she walked. The veterinarian decided her leg needed to be amputated for health reasons.
She purred through her recovery and joined us and her two cat brothers - happy and well adjusted. We named her Angelita - little angel. We all adore her and she spends her days lounging and energetically playing with her toys. She is a joy.
