Peaches looks sweet and cuddly, but BEWARE..... she is known as the "Freakish One" for good reason. She was adopted from the Shelter four years ago because she wrapped herself around my neck when I was cleaning her cage, then proceeded to wrap herself around my heart. We were getting ready to go on vacation and already had three fur babies, so my husband and I agreed that if she had not been adopted by the time we returned, we would bring her home. I was certain such a sweet kitten would find a furever home quickly, but I guess she was destined for us. As soon as we got her home, she proceeded to train us. She demands attention and loves to sit in our laps, unfortunately she turns into a Tasmanian devil when we need to put her down. Her favorite night time sport is to hide behind a corner and attack the dogs when they try to go into the bedroom. Most of the time, they sit outside the door and whine until I pick her up. Our other cat, Dr. Watson, has tried in vain to befriend her, but she only hisses and bats at him. My sister dubbed Peaches the "Freakish One" after trying to remove her from her lap. I say she is simply a strong, independent woman who knows what she wants.
