We adopted Sheba from Suncoast (Pet Supermarket). She was there for a month or more and we couldn't let her stay any longer! From the day that we took her home she did not eat or drink for at least two weeks. We brought her to three vets and the third one said that we woul d have to tube feed her for her to live. They put a hole in her neck to the stomach for the tube and we tube fed her for two weeks. It was quite stressful for all of us but one Sunday morning I guess she knew she could eat on her own so scratched/pulled the tube out. That was over a year ago and we have a healthy happy Queen Sheba! I think that she knows we saved her since she looks at us in a very loving appreciative way.
