Bailey was adopted from the Suncoast Humane Society when she was a 4-month old puppy back in February of 2007. Bailey loves children, meeting new people, and playing in the snow. Bailey is such an amazing and loyal companion to her humans. When her humans moved to Virginia, they unknowingly bought a house with a basement that was prone to flooding. Until that basement was fixed, Bailey would gently wake her humans up right before the water was about to start pouring into the finished and newly carpeted part of the basement. Inevitably these torrential rain storms were always in the middle of the night. Bailey is credited by her humans with the uncanny ability of knowing it was time for them to get up, and get the shop-vac and buckets. Bailey and her humans are now back in Florida, and Bailey is nearing her 10th Birthday. Bailey is in good heath, and has a close relationship with the youngest pack member, a 5-year old human girl named Lily. The two can often be found cuddled up together in the early morning. Bailey is loved by all her meet her.
