Lily, Dusty Buttercup, and Rocca- Roo at Roo's Sixteenth Birthday Party. Roo joined the family at age 15. He loved to ride in the doggy "sled" with his siblings as they took on the trails around their home. Lily was the Lead dog on the team, while Dusty (the smallest at 3 1/2 pounds) worked as "navigator" from the comfort of the front seat of the sled, actually a converted baby jogger. Rocca Roo earned the title "Chief of Base Operations" and was presented with a badge on his sixteenth birthday. As Pomeranians, the dogs were very proud to remind everyone that they were descended from the great sled dogs of yesteryear.
