Why my pet is cool
Let me tell you about my best friend… he is a 3.5-year-old Belgian Malinois named Rico. Rico is from Holland. Rico and I were paired when he was 1-year-old. Rico is not only a fun, athletic, energetic, loving companion, but he is one of the hardest working deputies at the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office working for Sheriff Donald Smith. When Rico is not taking bad guys and drugs off of the streets; he enjoys spending time playing ball, playing with my kids and swimming. What makes Rico the coolest dog? It’s his ability to perform his duties of protecting the citizens of Augusta County and to also be a loving friend.
