Why my pet is cool
Wade is a 15-year-old red-eared slider who digs cherry tomatoes, footwear, and yoga. Widely known as The World's Most Interesting Reptile, he was rescued from a Chinese restaurant tank in Boston before moving to Virginia in 2010. Wade has an active social media following, beginning with a mention in Best of Craigslist 2007 under "My Turtle Needs a Booty Call." He loves to roam free around the house, following people's voices and feet, or sleeping under the dog bed because it feels like mud.
