Punkin showed up at our house during Covid. My husband was out back building a deck, and Punkin came out of the woods chirping, not meowing. We had never heard a cat make that sound. Turns out he has his own language. He also was starving. After that he became my husband’s cat. He tolerates me but my husband is his bestie. We had him neutered at Alley Cats. They told us he was motivated by food. So true. We’ve tried several weight control cat foods but to no avail. Just more of him to brush and love.
