A little about me...
Here's Rowdy with his treasured toys. We adopted Rowdy in 2016 from Pierce County Humane Society. My husband found him and said "I'm retired, he can retire with me...". So we were happy with a mature dog. Rowdy was neglected and maybe abused for a couple of years after his first owner died. Like many dogs at the Humane Society, Rowdy had a good life and learned good inside behavior but then fell into a bad situation that left him with fears and some scars from neglect and possible abuse. Rowdy is a Blue Heeler about 12 years old. He can LIVE UP TO his name - especially if he is close enough to another dog. But mostly we keep Rowdy away from other canines. He LOVES people of all kinds and folks often comment on his good looks when we are out walking. Rowdy has been an especially devoted companion of my husband during his illnesses in the last few years. Rowdy's story shows a dog can come from bad experiences into a good home and show GREAT LOVE and good behavior and join the family as a very loving member!
