Pet's Story or Bio
Flipper came to Tacoma Humane as a teeny little kitten with his siblings. While all of his brothers and sisters had 4 paws to stand on, Flipper was born with 3 on the ground and one funky little leg curved and pointed to the sky. Although he tried to use it, the leg just didn’t cooperate and proved to be nonfunctional and a risky burden during playtime and climbing. Flipper had an amputation, healed, and was adopted into my home with an amputee brother named Banjo to show him missing a leg can’t stop the zoomies.
