My first “Project Dog” when I started work as a technician at the city shelter in Bloomington, IN. But maybe I was her project? Thanks to Penny (and her BFF Gus), I wound up with an amazing bonus family of friends far away from my original home on Whidbey Island, WA. She’s a little too smart sometimes, always up for an adventure, and keeps me on my toes. I’m hers and she’s mine. She loves swimming and the beach, fetch, and “sneakily” tasting discarded food. To know Schmoo is to love her. Ask anyone.
