Pet's Story or Bio
Callie is our rescued Great Pyrenees from the Tacoma-Pierce County Humane Society. As best we know, she's 7.5-8 years old but still acts like a pup. She has the GP 'attitude'--very independent but extremely loyal and faithful. Like other Pyrs, her hearing is incredible. She could hear a fly buzzing on the back of a cow 20 miles away in a rainstorm. Favorite pastime besides napping, walking and eating--barking at things in the sky-- real or imagined. Callie is our third rescue from the Tacoma-Pierce Co. Humane Society. Before her came Lucy (Samoyed mix) and Jackson (Pyr mix). Rescue is our favorite breed!
