Pet's Story or Bio
About five years ago, Pixie survived on the side of a busy freeway in Houston where she’d been abandoned. It took animal control about three weeks to catch her since the initial reports came in about a puppy near the road, even though she had suffered a severely broken leg. After moving from foster to foster, she braved a plane ride up to SeaTac and has lived her best life in Tacoma ever since. She maintains her free and independent spirit while exploring the trails of the West (and frankly she prefers our cooler weather) and is where she was meant to end up.
