Pet's Story or Bio
Rita is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix rescue dog. After starting out a tiny pup in Eastern Washington in an unhealthy situation, she was brought over to the west side and fostered by a wonderful family. Through mutual acquaintances, my family learned of a Chihuahua being fostered and we invited them over to see the puppy and if she could be a good fit with our family and cats. We all fell in love with her and kept her overnight as a trial period. When her foster called to see how it went, it was up to my dad (who is against more animals) and he said he liked her and didn't mind if we kept her!
We named her Margarita after my dad's favorite drink and call her Rita for short. We have had her for 4 years and she is so loved and spoiled she will never know neglect ever again. Rita's favorite things in life are Pupaccinos at Starbucks where the baristas there love her and know her bark, taking short walks to Lefty's Burger Shack for French fries and milkshakes, and being a snugglebug under the covers until late morning. She is not the typical yippy tiny dog. She is quiet, has been easy to train, and knows a handful of tricks. Rita is the best and most loved on dog and has made our household full of fun, laughter, and happiness! Life would not be the same without her.
