Meet Nacho AKA “Bunny Butt”!

Nacho was rescued through a trap-neuter-release program, but because of his injuries, he wasn’t able to be released back outside. When he was first trapped as a kitten, he had a broken tail that needed to be amputated and a spinal injury that made his future uncertain. We decided to care for him and make him as comfortable as possible, unsure if he would even survive.

But six years later, Nacho has proven to be a true fighter. After physical therapy and lots of patience, he’s able to run, jump, and live life to the fullest with his orange sister, Cheddar. Although he sometimes needs to wear a diaper when traveling or scared, he’s thriving more than ever as a happy, determined cat who never gave up.
