Our Make Hoppy Happen beer label contest is back and better than ever!
We’re once again teaming up with our friends at E9 Brewing Co. to launch a unique brew featuring our community's beloved pets! And this year, we’ve got exciting news! Four winners—two dogs and two cats—will be chosen to have their pet appear on this limited-release label.
Submit your pet’s photo, then rally votes from friends, family, neighbors, random strangers, and long-lost uncles! The top four winners' pets will be illustrated on one can in a special-edition four-pack, and will also receive an E9 gift card and an HSTPC Adopt, Foster, Love t-shirt.
And most importantly, every vote means another dollar to help Pierce County's pets in need find loving homes. Submit your pet’s picture before September 23 for your chance to win!

Contest Entry- To submit your pet's photo, a minimum $25 donation is required.
- Entries must be submitted online. You may submit as many entries as you like.
- Photo categories are limited to dogs and cats.
- Once entered, all photos become the property of the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County and can be used, edited, or modified to further promote the contest.
- Any photo or caption deemed inappropriate as determined by the staff of HSTPC will be removed from the photo contest.
- Your pet does not have to be adopted from HSTPC to be eligible to enter this contest.
Photo Requirements- Photos should be in focus and of high quality, in either .jpg or .png format.
- Photo must feature one pet only.
- Photos must contain only pets – no humans.
- If photos include pets not owned by the person entering the photo, the entrant must receive written permission from the pet's owner for usage in the contest.
Contest Voting
- Each entry is $25.
- Every $1 donation counts as one vote (minimum of five votes, or $5).
- Due to processing costs, a minimum $5 donation is required
- Votes are unlimited.
- All donations from voting and entries are non-refundable.
- Voting can be done online or by calling 253-284-5814. Votes over the phone must be received by noon on September 22. After noon on September 22, only online voting will be allowed.
- Voting in person at our shelter will not be allowed.
Contest Deadlines
- The submission and voting periods begin at 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
- The submission and voting periods end at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
- Contest winners will be contacted by Sept. 25 2025 with information on their prizes.
