We fostered Annie, then Sally for a few months. Our first outing was to a pet store to get her a harness. The boy helping us startled her, and she bit him. I was scared to death. We came home. I talked to Moe and she said we could bring her back to the rescue, I wasn’t about to give up on her. We adopted her, worked with her, and she turned out great, still a little shy with strangers. She loves our little grandchildren. She didn’t like other dogs but loved a little stray that came to our house so we kept the little stray also. They are best buddies and we all, including Annie are all happy. It is so much fun watching her run and play with Evie. She is a wonderful dog that needed someone to give her a chance, and we did. Never give up on a dog. You don’t know what they have been through. They need love and assurance.
