About me
Fig, formally known as Richard, has become my best friend. When I picked him up he was absolutely scared to death. From that first night where he nervously panted and paced, I had to lay on the living room floor to hold him until he finally gave in and rested, to tonight, several months later, when he engaged in play with another dog at the park for the first time, my heart is bursting with pride at how far he’s come. This particular photo is from the early days. I take him everywhere that is dog friendly to socialize him and this day we made a trip to Lowe’s. When we got in the car I asked, “Who’s a good boy?” and he flashed me this smile. I have so many but this remains my favorite photo of him and a cherished memory of our journey together thus far.
