I adopted Buddy, from Rosie's Southside Shelter October 1 2022. I was looking for a cocker spaniel, because Mandy my cocker spaniel past away. Buddy and I bonded with just one walk around the shelter. He had been at the shelter for five months, because they were treating him for heartworm. I had to wait almost a month to bring him home, because he had surgery on a cherry eye, so I would go over to the shelter every day and walk him. Every day I walked him the closer we became. It was so hard to have to leave there. Once I got him home, I gave him a good bath, and he went to sleep next me on couch. He's such a good dog. He's just one those dogs, that let's know your his favor person!
