Tripp & his litter were rescued at 4 months old by Tails & Trails from a horrific animal hoarder’s site. It was love at first sight at Natalie Coers’ foster home on the south side. DNA testing revealed a designer breed: Aussie -Retriever (Australian-Golden Ret. ). Caged and deprived of human contact & affection, he was terrified of virtually everything! His hind legs were extremely weak & no eye contact was possible. Later, weeping eyes turned out to be Tick-Bourne disease “ehrlichiosis”. Hospital diagnosis & treatment saved his life. Our slow, gentle & patient approach along with hours of off - leash exercise & exploration in nature, brought our boy back to
life. At 4-years old Tripp is trusting, loving, “Semper Vivian’s” and claims us as his pack.
