We adopted Milo from Tails and Trails in the early days of the pandemic. He had been surrendered by a couple who was divorcing and was simply the sweetest dog at 18 mos. old. We returned to Tails and Trails planning to adopt another older dog, but none of the ones available seemed to fit with Milo. When told a litter of mixed cattle dog puppies had been rescued from a Kentucky puppy mill, my daughter asked to go look at them and we returned home with Kona! Despite having very different personalities, they are completely bonded and bring lots of joy...and energy to our family!
