Tell us something about your dog and share your rescue story
Both Kit and Thumper were captured running in the mountains of Kentucky and rescued a day away from being euthanized; Thumper was rescued by Outreach Rescue in Wisconsin and Kit was rescued by Tails and Trails in Indiana. We got Thumper in May 2024. He was slow to adjust and seemed lonely. We heard he was part of a pack and we were hoping to find another member of his pack to adopt to make him feel a bit more at home. That led to Kit in July 2024. After learning the history behind both dogs, we completed Embark DNA testing which revealed that they are either brothers or father/son. They have both captured our hearts -- our days are again filled with joy, companionship and love beyond measure. We are so blessed to have them part of our family and love them to pieces.
