About 2 years ago, Kit &Thumper were captured running in the mountains of Kentucky, rescued a day away from being euthanized. Thumper was rescued by a shelter in Wisconsin and Kit was rescued by Tails & Trails. One could say that–being rescued–they are the lucky ones. To the contrary, our lives have been blessed beyond measure with these two little angels. They have bonded far stronger than any of the other dogs we rescued over the past 20+ years. The love and joy they have brought into our lives is inexpressible. They are protective but have the kindest, sweetest hearts and their love and appreciation radiate from their eyes. Both have captured our hearts with a love and companionship that is unconditional. We are so blessed to have them part of our family and love them to pieces. Fun fact: they love almonds and each sit on the bed every night staring at us until they each get 5.
