Tails and Trails Rescue is a 501(c) (3) non-profit volunteer run organization. We have been helping dogs for over 20 years. Our mission is to “save those that others cast away,” by pulling dogs that are at risk for euthanasia at the often overcrowded public shelters. We are based in Greenwood Indiana and rescue dogs throughout the Midwest. Many of our dogs have been mistreated or neglected, and often require extensive medical treatment to become ready for adoption.
All our adopted animals are:
- Spayed/neutered to avoid adding to the overgrowing pet population
- Micro chipped to ensure if lost they can find their way home
- Completely vaccinated
