About Your Pet
Sky was abused, mistreated and dumped. She spent months in a five foot concrete holding pen, basically waiting to be put down. She was twenty pounds underweight and full of lesions. We took a chance on her because we saw a sweet heart beneath grime.

She proved us right. After 6 weeks she gained weight and confidence. Within a few months she found our laps. After two years she is the best dog in the world. Sky likes walks but she loves rides in the car. Of course she calls shotgun. She is a happy girl now and is met with smiles by everyone she meets.

Sky represents all that is good with dogs waiting for a chance to be rescued. All she wanted from life is a safe comfortable home with people who care for her.

Sky was rescued from near death and spent too many months in a kill shelter hoping to be saved. She is not a pedigree queen. She is not a fancy show dog. She is, however, the sweetest most incredible soul that walks the planet. Her main focus is to make us grin and giggle. Her past was one of abuse and neglect. Her future is one of peace and happiness. I doubt she would care if she was named top pet. But, if she was, her story would inspire others to rescue many like her
