Max is a wonderful companion. We rescued him Nov. 3, 2018. Max loves to hike and explore, he loves to play ball. He absolutely adores his mommy, and loves to remind Daddy with a nip who the "king" in the house is. His nickname is Maximus, Emperor of the McC houusehold.be

He isn't there years yet but already endured some heartbreak in his life. Max former owner deceased, and he was forced to share the house with his owners body. Luckily help arrived. Max was taken to Jacksonville area animal shelter. From there he was picked up by a German Shepherd rescue. On Nov.3,2018 we adopted Max.Unfortunately Max developed kennel cough in the rescue which had turned into an undetected light pneumonia. Thank God, our vet was able to help. Max is an example of an happy dog, who brings joy to me on daily basis. He is most loyal dog, and I don't want to miss him a day.
