About Your Pet
Trevor is a rescue from Thomasville. I first saw him on Pet Parade on WCTV. He’s a basenji cattle dog mix with one blue and one brown eye. His favorite toy is squeaky cheeseburger and he enjoys bossing his cat sister, Winter, around and fussing at her when she vexes him.

We found each other during a very turbulent time: I was hospitalized twice after adopting him and soon found myself alone in the midst of a divorce after 24 years of marriage. He stuck with me through thick and thin. Now that I’m married to the love of my life, Trevor has a wonderful dad who adores him as much as I do (if that’s even possible). Trevor is 10 but still plays squeaky cheeseburger with mom & dad every morning and night. If I had to guess what my life would have been like if I hadn’t met him, it’s possible I wouldn’t have survived the difficult years. He has been my lighthouse for all these years and I’m so grateful we found each other.
