About Your Pet
Wally is a rescue from the Leon County Humane Society, he was rescued from a pug hoard, and we believe he is about 7 or 8 years old. He came from rescue skittish, unwilling to ride in a car, could barely walk on a leash, and was scared of everyone and everything. Today, he demands to meet everyone and go everywhere! He loves treats, a healthy-ish diet, long car rides, pug massages from his momma, and playing with friends!

Wally entered my life as I was saying goodbye to a 21-year friendship with my cat, China. I truly believe he gave us 6 extra months together, as he served as her bed warmer and was so gentle with her. Even more than that, he gave me a reason to wake up every morning and get out of bed, because the dog is not going to walk himself :-) since then, he has brought smiles to so many other humans, whether they be grieving, living in nursing homes, recovering from illnesses, or simply need a pick-me-up. Wally is the man for the job!
