Skyler is a Bi-Colored German Shepherd Dog that was rescued from a shelter in North Georgia. She was found running around with no Hooman owner in sight and no one to claim her.

She spent several months at the shelter and was previously adopted by two other families, but they both returned her to the shelter less than a month later because they could not handle her high play drive or spend enough time with her.

But now she’s a Tally-Gal and has her fur-ever home!

No one knew what she had been called or how old she was, so we named her Skyler and believe she is around two years old. The best part of not knowing her birthdate is getting to pick one of your own, so Skyler’s birthday is October 31st!

Skyler had a rough start by being abandoned by three other families before being adopted by her dad, who was born and raised in Tallahassee.

She loves going to the dog parks and making new friends everywhere she goes! You’ll also find her walking the many hiking trails around town and stopping to sniff everything she can.

Skyler is a very happy girl, who loves to play and give sloppy kisses. Who wouldn’t want to see a smiling German Shepherd Dog on the cover of the Tallahassee Magazine?
