Pet's Story or Bio
CJ became part of our Beagle family at 8mo old and blind due to having cataracts since he was born. After discussing with our vet and doing research we were able to find a specialized vet and after a long recovery he is able to see and play with his new brother and sisters. It’s a whole new world for him and it’s heartwarming to see how happy and adventurous he is. When he was blind our other dogs(as soon as we brought him home) immediately took to him making noises, walking in front of him so he could hear them and helped him go through the house and 2 doggie doors. Eventually he did it all by himself. The most amazing thing was to watch him after surgery come outside for the first time and see his surroundings. He took in the smallest of details. He now runs through the house getting the rest of the dogs riled up in the mornings BUT first he has to jump up in bed and snuggle right under my chin. and go back to sleep for a few minutes. All my dogs are affectionate but CJ is this soft, furry bundle of love. We are so blessed to be his parents. Did I mention he loves his ball and daily likes to play fetch?❤️
