Pet's Story or Bio
Otis came to us in 2014, an angry young man, and has since grown into a grumpy old man. We adopted him after he had been given up to the rescue (twice!), having earned the nickname 'Cujo.' His fear aggression made it difficult for him to get to know new people, but with time, patience and lots of cuddles, Otis is not only well-adjusted, but a spoiled 'Daddy's boy.' Now Otis acts as a mentor to all of our incoming fosters, showing that any dog can be the right dog for the right family. Otis' hobbies include yelling at squirrels in his back yard, and yelling at you if you haven't rubbed his belly in the past 15 seconds, and he knows he can get away with anything if he fixes those big puppy dog eyes on you.
