I think Rescue is truly the power of love. Mia came to us just 3 weeks ago and she is a dream. Found as a stray and taken to a shelter, Mia was pulled by Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. Upon examination, she was found to have pneumonia and heart worms. The Rescue treated her pneumonia first and the kind parents of one of the volunteers kept her isolated for a month. She went to the home of another volunteer and was socialized with her family and dogs. When Mia was ready, her heart worms were also treated. We were so fortunate to be chosen to adopt her and the support we’ve been given is truly amazing. She is healthy and happy and she is ours!
