Mishka came to us very aloof. He would look right through us, not understanding what had happened in his life. But now, after being with us since July 2017, he has settled into our life and is happy. He no longer looks right through us rather he has the look of expectancy. He loves to go for walks and for rides in the car. And, of course, he loves to eat! Mishka gets excited to see us when we come home and he runs to greet us. He carries himself in a dignified and regal way found in the Malamute breed. Children are drawn to Mishka because he is like a big, living teddy bear. They hug him around his neck and tell him they love him. And we do the same thing!!
