Your Pet's Rescue Story
"Dallas the Reading Dog loves to lend her ears and listen to students read at WDC elementary. This beautiful Great Pyrenees snuggles in close and listens intently to one-on-one reading with students. Her master, Kathy Harrison, said when Dallas comes to the school, she gets excited to be around the kids and, of course, she enjoys all the attention. Second grader Caleb is pictured above reading aloud his book to Dallas."

In the winter of 2007 we discovered the TGPR website. The wonderful folks at TGPR guided us to Little Mama and we quickly fell in love! It didn't take Jeff and I long to plan a vacation with our first rescued PYR, TBear, our lab CJ, and head to Texas from our home in Minnesota to adopt our new family member, renamed Miss Dallas.
