Your Pet's Rescue Story
We found this fur ball as a rescue at a city shelter in the Dallas area, just as the Great Pyrenees Rescue was about to be called in to take him. The Rescue agreed to let us have him, and we have since adopted another dog directly from them as well (Pudge :-)!).
Tank was about 2 when we rescued him. They had found him abandoned in a hotel room. We're not sure of his story, but sadly it appears he may have been abused at some point, To watch him slowly learn to trust, and to love, has been one of our most treasured adventures. Though still wary of strangers, he loves us with his entire being, as we do him.
I captured his gentle spirit in this photo - as he climbed on his favorite wall in typical Great Pyr agility - and kissed the morning sun :-)
