Your Pet's Rescue Story
Woolly was found in Mesquite, TX after being hit by a car. TGPR picked him up and found him an amazing foster home in Austin, TX, a mere two blocks from us, his forever family, who would find him about 10 weeks later. We had been thinking of adopting another dog as Woolly's foster was starting to put him out there. Our German Shepherd, Bonham, had passed away about two years prior and we were just feeling up to loving another dog again. We first found Woolly on a Nextdoor post and boy, was he perfect! Calm, good with cats (we have two!), and a big dog that was just looking for a family to love him. It was perfect and we just couldn't say no, so we applied to adopt him and he's been our perfect companion to our cats, Tako & Belle, since!
