Your Pet's Rescue Story
Gilby was a rescue from the HSPCA. He was approximately 3-4 years old when we got him. I am chronically ill with Lupus and we have found that he has an innate ability to know when something is very wrong. On more than one occasion he has known that I was having internal bleeding before I did. He is very aware of how I am feeling and when I am not well he struggles along with me. My doctor will ask "what is the dog doing?" when we call him to report my condition. He has brought an incredible amount of joy and purpose to my Life. I feel safe and protected when I am with him. He is my guardian angel, protector and very best friend. Gilby truly rescued me.
