Your Pet's Rescue Story
I got Bentley (then Jon Snow), his sister and brother at 3 days old. They had been dumped at the city shelter, likely a backyard breeder situation gone wrong, when their mother and two siblings didn't make it. They had to be bottle fed and kept warm; sadly, we lost their brother the first night. Bentley and his sister each faded at different times, requiring tube feeding, fluids, and many rounds of antibiotics-we were so worried. Ultimately, though, they grew healthy and strong and proved to be very brave little fighters. Their story is one of triumph in the face of much adversity. Even before we knew what breed, my heart couldn't give up Jon Snow, so we adopted him, renamed him, and are crazy in love. Being a Great Pyrenees was just the icing on the cake! In this photo he was 4 weeks old.
