A little about me...
Winnie was rescued and returned to the shelter more than once, had heartworm (but thankfully recovered), and was involved in a fight with another dog (that has left her quite anxious). But finally in 2017, she truly found her forever home - with us. She filled and then overflowed a hole left in our family after our last dog passed away. Winnie is sweet and smart and loves to cuddle. Her favorite things are chicken, sweet potato treats, squeaky toys, and nice long walks with her family. She also likes playing ball (and will wait at the door, ball in mouth, when she sees you have come home), but has yet to learn that in order to continue the game, she must drop the ball! Just petting her soft fur is enough to put a smile on our faces. We love her so much!
