Your Pet's Rescue Story
I’m Sam. My forever family adopted me two years ago from the local shelter. I was scared at first, but my father and big sister loved and trained me to be a therapy dog at my daddy’s school. Last Spring 2020, my forever dad’s father passed away. I comforted him and stayed close to my daddy. Soon after, I lost my eye sight. I was scared. However, my daddy was there for me as I was for him. We are bonded more now than ever. I had to do some extra training because I lost my eyesight to continue to go to school with my dad. I love being around the students and teachers in school, getting hugs, and sometimes treats. Most of all, even though I’m blind, I’m not afraid to go outside and play, especially in the Texas Snow-pacalypse.
