Your Pet's Rescue Story
Mingo was adopted by a family as a puppy, then given up at 1 1/2 yrs as an aggressive dog. He is a big boy but only 70lbs. He had muscle atrophy in hips from being kenneled without exercising. Then he came to us. We got him to the vet and he received medical help, our boy started to blossom. He is our protector. He weighs 149lbs and muscular. He needs time to warm up to people. We teach others how to not be afraid, just be respectful of his space. He is a totally goofy boy that loves his family.
Dixie is out Freedom Girl! Recused from a shelter at 5months old. Our wild child becomes a Mission of Love when she walks into an Alzheimer facility. She calmly walks up to those who have forgotten life and helps them remember there is still love. She recuses them.
