Your Pet's Rescue Story
Betty (or Beatrice when she's being ornery) was part of the Halloween Hill litter (formerly Wendy). Born on an abandoned ranch and rescued from horrible conditions by TGPR.
We'd been looking for a pup to join our family when we fell in love with her sweet face. When we were approved to adopt her, we literally counted the days until our road trip to Texas to meet her. She quickly became a beloved member of our family.
Her vet noticed something weird when listening to her heart so we took her to a cardiologist. Betty was diagnosed with severe PVCs, a type of cardiac arrhythmia. She started heart medicine right away, but they couldn't identify a cause. After a few months on her medication, her cardiologist couldn't detect any irregularities in her heartbeat! Betty is a healthy little weirdo and has never known there was anything wrong at all. :)
