Your Pet's Rescue Story
Maggie is 3 1/2 years old. She was picked up as a stray. She was scared and badly matted according to the animal shelter report. She spent a while in the shelter before being rescued by a foster group. She lived with her foster for a month before I adopted her. She was very, very people shy and definitely not leash trained. She has lived with us for 1 1/2 years and finally learning to trust us. After a very long process she now enjoys walking and doesn’t cower when we walk by her. We’re still working on her people shyness. She’s pretty spoiled now and I think she’s pretty comfortable in her air conditioned home!
