Your Pet's Rescue Story
Bourbon was a Covid puppy/owner surrender. I had lost my 13 yr old Pyr mix of to cancer 3 weeks before Bourbon came into my life. This picture was taken on the first morning after adopting him on our way back to Austin. It just so happened the place we found to spend the night was a farm stay We pulled in late at night not knowing we were surrounded by the very animals he inherently knows to protect. When we woke up & I opened my bedroom window I saw that we were surrounded by cattle. I put Bourbon on his leash walked outside & I started to cry. He never barked, he quietly sat, then laid down watching the cattle. I fell in love with him when I met him but this was the very moment I could truly see his soul and his incredibly kind heart.
