Your Pet's Rescue Story
There are not enough words to describe Loki. Gentle giant, Fighter, Survivor…Loki was rescued by TGPR after being surrendered by his owner from a broken leg. Turns out that his damage was by a shotgun and still has multiple pellets in his body today. After his initial surgery he ran away from his foster and destroyed the repair which required another surgery. We adopted Loki in April of 2021. After 3 more surgeries on his leg we found out that he was Heartworm positive in March of this year. Loki finished his treatment 7 weeks ago. He had a leg checkup last week and is doing great. Fingers crossed his HW test is negative in January and this sweet boy’s fight will be done. Thank you to TGPR for supporting us through this journey with Loki!
