Your Pet's Rescue Story
JAKE, previously known as 'Semper Fi', came to us in Febr. 2022 from a TGPR foster home north of Dallas.
We were looking there for a smaller female Pyr - but this "big boy", born in Oct. 2019 in Louisiana, adopted and charmed us with instant "love at first sight", we just had to take him home with us to Houston.
Since then he still grew a bit taller and with his now 3.5 years he became a beautiful large 150 lbs "Big JAKE". His little scar of unknown origin on his nose gives him special character. Our love for this "Gentle Giant" and great companion is still growing with time.
On our walks in the park he is a stately presence, often a show stopper for people wanting to pet him - and he loves it, especially with children. JAKE is our beloved best buddy!!
