Your Pet's Rescue Story
Seven is a delightful puppy!

He had a tough start in life – he was shot & brutally smashed on the side of his face that required multiple surgeries to repair.
Seven also has not had a stable home. He has had several foster families.
I was his 3rd foster.
These circumstances had left Seven to be fearful. When he came to here, he had a severe case of separation anxiety. He was fearful of being let alone.
He had to be physically touching me 24/7.
He was unsure of interactions with my extremely mellow, 10 yr old dog.
He did not want to be in the back yard – even if I was with him.

After a month & ½ and Seven began to start his recovery from his surgeries.
His personality began to bloom!

Now, he is learning to trust.
He easily learned how to use the dog door by watching my dog.
He is learning new commands.
The command word that he knows are – “Out” (go outside) & there he goes!
He knows “Go to bed” & puts himself in his crate in the bedroom.
“Kennel” means to get into his crate in the “kennel” room.
He is learning “sit” & “down”.
He responds with love 1st, cookies 2nd.

Seven loves squeaky toys!

His favorite place to be is under my work desk, it is his favorite chubby hole!

Seven now goes outside on his own, he has been seen to play – zooming around the yard, chasing squirrels, chewing on plants. Such a delight to see!

Seven loves to go on walks – he has to stop and smell what has gone before him. Be forewarned, he stops A LOT!

He has been introduced to horses – Those were VERY scary!
He has been introduced to cats – nose to nose they sniffed each other. He was not interested in chasing them, even as they skirted away. Hanging out with his trusted human was better.

During the day, he will take a favorite toy to play with in his “bedtime” crate.
Seven is a loving pup, and will make a wonderful forever dog to anyone that is willing to put in the up front time that it takes to orientate & love a dog that has has been through so much.

Seven has so much love love to give! He would love to be your forever pup!
