Your Pet's Rescue Story
We lost our wonderful Pyrenees, Milo, in May. He was only 6, and we were devastated. We knew Milo would want us to honor him by saving another Pyr because we had rescued him. TGPR admins totally understood our pain, and helped us find Frankie, a beautiful Pyr Mix, most likely dumped. A wonderful vet student (Francesca) in Amarillo found Frankie and saved him. When we saw Frankie’s photo, it was love at first sight. Very quickly, he was in our lives, loving us in his calm and gentle way. It’s amazing how the very best qualities of Milo and our other Pyr, Teddy, are part of Frankie’s personality. Frankie just graduated from obedience class with flying colors. We have him enrolled in Pet Therapy Classes in September, and then we hope to join a team we worked with long ago when Teddy was a Therapy dog.
