Your Pet's Rescue Story
Country came into the rescue so underweight and covered in injuries that the vets said he didn't even have a few hours to live. His story, pictures, and videos were so heartbreaking that people from all over the country, as well as from other countries, followed his progress, sent him presents, and donated to his care. We didn't know, day to day, if we were going to lose him. The first time I saw him, I fell in love with him. He was at my vet's hospital, so I got to see him all the time. When he was finally allowed to go to a foster, I took him home. I lost my sweet soul dog. Ammo, and was really struggling, but Country has that same gentle sweetness, and he held me together. Now he is Momma's dog and cares for me, our other rescues (even the cats), and I can't imagine our life without his sweet presence. He is my beautiful boy, my sweet
